So goes the line from the famous song from Cabaret and nothing
could be more true for an Arts Venue like Watermans. It is nigh on
impossible to fund all of our activities from box office income
alone. So we have to raise money in as many different ways as
possible.
And this is what we do.
Half of the business is run as a conventionalTRADING
ORGANISATION the other half of the business is run as
a SOCIAL ENTERPRISE, working to contracts
from national and local government, NGOs and other organsiations to
provide social services.
