Watermans is an Arts Centre in Brentford serving the London Borough of Hounslow, the neighbouring boroughs and the wider community of West London.
We aim for excellence in the range of things we do:
- Asian Arts, mainly performing arts in the theatre but stretching across all of the other activities
- New Media Arts
- Participative Arts including drama and dance workshops and working with young people, the disadvantaged and projects that promote inclusivity
- Independent Cinema aimed at a variety of audiences including local film goers, film enthusiasts and families
- A regular programme of Comedy acts and performances
- Childrens shows and activities including a big Christmas show
We aim to engage with the community in as many ways as possible, not just in expecting them to pay to come and see something. We place great importance on providing opportunities for young people in particular, to have the opportunity to express themselves.
