In the last three years Watermans has bid for and been awarded over £1m of Public Service Contracts

The current economic situation will place everyone under great financial pressure for many years to come. We are determined that Watermans will continue to prosper and to do this we must continue to pursue new sources of income and take responsibility for generating the income needed to secure our future. In order to pitch and win larger public service contracts we have just been given a substantial loan by The Futurebuilders Fund (nearly £1/4 million)

The Futurebuilders Fund is managed by The Social Investment Business, the UK's largest social investor. it provides loan financing, often combined with grants and professional support, to third sector organisations in England that need investment to help them bid for, win and deliver public service contracts.

The aim of the Fund is to substantially improve the financial and strategic capability of the third sector so that it can play an ever greater role in improving the lives of the people and communities it serves.
