Watermans is a multi-disciplinary Arts Centre that aims to provide the best service to the community that is possible, within the constraints of funding and the practicality of the facility.
We employ 6 full-time Box Office staff to provide the level of care that our customers demand. They are regularly commended for their initiative and helpfulness by customers. If you need any advice or assistance they should be your first port of call. They are very proficient in providing the right kind of assistance needed.

Wheelchairs
The venue can normally be accessed directly from the car park and there is a lift to all floors. The venue has been designed to provide good wheelchair access. There are ramps to the Box Office level and the Theatre and Cinema level. Both Cinema and Theatre have spaces for wheelchairs, however our Box Office Manager should be told at the time of booking as these spaces are inevitably limited and in the case of the Theatre involve the removal of some of the seats.
Backstage facilities are accessible to disabled performers and staff.

Children
Children are always welcome. We run Adult & Baby cinema every Thursday morning and we can provide good, secure buggy storage. We have changing facilities on the Box Office level.
We also run musical workshops for young children on Wednesday mornings. There is a full programme of activities for older children at weekends including Cinema, Theatre, Drama workshops and Dance Classes.
The Guru Restaurant provides a popular childrens menu
Parking
There is usually ample free parking in our underground car park. The spaces nearest the entrances are reserved for disabled visitors. On occasions when the venue is full parking can become congested so please leave a little extra time when attending these events and don't block other customers in.
Additional parking is available in the multi-story carpark 300 metres to the west of Watermans behind the Premier Inn
Internet Access
Our Riverside Bar and Guru Restaurant offer free WiFi access. Just ask at Box Office for your access code.
