Come and share in the fun at Watermans with a very special day of activities for all the family.

You can watch Giraffes Can't Dance, a fabulous musical and puppet performance presented by one of Watermans' favourite companies for Children - Blunderbus Theatre. Based on the best-selling children's book by award-winning poet Giles Andreae and illustrator Guy Parker-Rees.

Adapted for the stage by Bill Davies, Music and Lyrics by Frank Goodhind.

Gerald was a tall Giraffe, whose neck was long and slim. But his knees were awfully bandy, and his legs were rather thin.

Gerald was not a good dancer. Every year, he dreaded the great Jungle Dance. But what Gerald discovers one beautiful moonlit night is that when we're different, sometimes all we need is a different song to dance to...

Cartoon Toons in our cinema where we'll be screening a series of short cartoons from some of your favourite cartoon characters. Due to popular demand we have added a extra screening at 1pm

WORKSHOPS

Why not join in the family movement workshops and have some swaying to the rhythm make your own animal puppets; you can create a giant shared jungle mural; and even have your your face painted!

So get in line for the Jungle Jive and take part in this fun filled family day! And don't forget to come and spot some jungle animals from the show as they walkabout the building between 12.30pm - 1.30pm. Don't forget to enter our competition once you have booked your tickets!!!

Jungle Jive Family Fun Day Competition

When you book tickets for our Jungle Jive Family Fun Day your children can enter in to our competition to win tickets for our Christmas Show!

Your child/ren could win a Family ticket for 4 people to see our Christmas Show The Adventures of Pinocchio performed by Blunderbus Theatre Company.

All they need to do is write 100 words telling their story about their journey to the Jungle Jive they must come up with the most biggest lie possible, the bigger the lie, the more chance of winning the competition. The winner will be announced on the family fun day, straight after the show in the theatre.

All entries must be in by 2pm, Sunday 13 September late entries will not be accepted.
