After fleeing to London, Louise, a member of the French Resistance, is recruited by the Special Operations Executive, an intelligence and sabotage service overseen by Churchill himself. She is assigned to an urgent mission to rescue a British agent who has fallen into German hands. She will stop at nothing to get the right women for the mission, even if it means lying or blackmailing.
Played with real conviction and verve, there are moments of true heroism and self sacrifice that sweep the audience along.
