We are designing an ISOCULTURE

Imagine a city of the future isolated from the wider environment where humans have become self-sufficient. Food, energy, medicine are all derived from human origins and man-made biological systems. Outside of the Isoculture city the environment has become a 'no-go' area to help it recover from widespread human impact. In terms of their impact on the planet, humans have disappeared. From Tuesday 6 March in the Gallery.

ISOCULTURE

We're still waiting for the ants. However we've just had another stimulating workshop with Ian Martin who is the Horticulturalist with the Eden Project. The number of artefacts is also growing. My favourite at the moment are the microscopic organisms that can survive the complete vacuum of outer space and exposure to Watermans coffee. Check out the ISOCULTURE Lab next time you are here.

Shape the Future

SHAPE THE FUTURE: Living and Design the City is a Recycled Art Competition that aims to develop an art platform of artists who use recycled material to express their visions and ideas. SHAPE THE FUTURE was created by You Are Home Itinerant Ecovillage, (http://www.youarehomeweb.com/) an organisation working on green economy, sustainability, ecology and self-resiliency.
