'How do we want the world to see our city?' An exhibition of work by young people in West London on London's role as the Olympic host city 

The exhibition will bring together a wide range of views and perspectives, encouraging sharing and understanding between different communities

Using the raw material of creative workshops to be conducted among young people including some with learning disabilities and mental health issues, young refugees and those from BAME and poor white communities, moti roti will create an exhibition to be held at Watermans and a short film to be provided for public screening.

The exhibition will run for 8 weeks to coincide with the handover from Bejing, marking the start of the London's Cultural Olympiad.

Watermans creative partner in this project is mori roti, an internationally renowned group founded in 1990. moti roti works within visual and live art, multi-media and socially engaged practice and deliberately blurs artform specialism to encourge cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural dialogues. Their work aims to progress ideas on identity and is led by participation, new technology and design
