Impact | Social impact

In addition to reporting 'outputs' and 'outcomes' for our projects required by the contracts we regularly receive feedback from participating group leaders and members of the public as well as from the participants themselves. Here are some of the things people have told us.

Media project with Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services

"We were very pleased with the project and the impact it had in creating new experiences and opportunities for our young people to work together on something creative with a professional outside of our staff. It gave the group a real sense of achievement." Maureen Hill, Medical Needs Unit

LightTAG Media project with young people

"The young people felt comfortable, secure, unthreatened and interested" Karena Brown, Education Officer, PATHWAYS, Hounslow Leaving Care team.

'The Young People very much enjoyed the course which was completely different from anything they had experienced before. Learning about light, photography, slow exposures etc. 'Karena Brown, Education Officer, PATHWAYS, Hounslow Leaving Care team.

Drama Hillingdon- professional drama project at the Harefield Academy

"Both groups have used their work and developed it into GCSE performance work that has been assessed highly in their exam performances. They have had the invaluable opportunity of working with professionals within the performing arts industry that have nurtured their love of the subject and developed their script writing and ensemble skills." Louise Davey, Head of Drama

Dance for young people with learning disabilities

"The desired outcomes for the participants were to enjoy the activity and meet and interact with new people. The project gave the participants a chance to develop their socials skills, encouraged them to meet new people and learn as much as they can about dance. "Jo Dawson, Aiming High

Animation project for adults with learning disabilities

"I think one of the biggest things they have taken away from the animation is team work… These activities help them to become more confident leading into other activities; we definitely see it as a building block for them to take into other things." Dan, Support worker
