West Thames College Dance Showcase
This exciting urban dance spectacular explores the relationship between the spoken word, music and movement. The choreography is the result of 12 weeks of group work focusing on the students' interpretation of a variety of texts, movement vocabulary and music. After initially rehearsing at West Thames College, the students bring the end result to Watermans to explore the process of staging a dance show.
The dancers are an ensemble of young refugees, led by Watermans' Community Dance Coach, Debbie Ward
This is a continuing project that will engage each new cohort of students when they enrol at the college
