Live Events | Live Action Painting in Hounslow High Street

This is a public live-art performance that combines performative street art, figurative drawing and painting and viewer participation.
The artist will be continually painting and re-working two surfaces throughout the day, inspired by music and the general public occupying the High Street. During the day, as part of Open Weekend, the public will be 'challenged' to sit for the artist during the performance piece and have their faces and bodies worked into the image. Abstract, imaginative, performance painting will be continuous throughout the piece and punctuated by the public's direct engagement in allowing themselves to become the subject of the painting.
The performance will result in a pair of avant-garde paintings as well as an ongoing visual spectacle and artistic experience, involvement, conversation and inspiration for a diverse range of people who will have had little or no exposure to contemporary art.
