Immensely popular dance workshop for age 13 - 19 yrs. Free street dance group practising various modern dance, African, Jazz and more
Aims and objectives of group are:
- taking risks, challenging the group, pushing ourselves.
- Developing dance movement
- Finding out about professional development opportunities
- To become a dance group that is integrating different dance styles
- Integrating with different art forms and the public
- Stretch our audience
Different dance styles Alluminae is interested in:
- Contemporary dance
- African dance
- Caribbean dance
- Salsa
- Jazz
- Tap
- Line dancing
- Street dance
The Alluminae Dance project is a Community Street Dance and Singing group for young people aged 13-19 in the London Borough of Hounslow. The group rehearses at the Watermans in Brentford and performs regularly at community and other events. We are a peer-led project
End of term performance in Watermans Theatre on 9 & 10 April at 7pm. tickets £5/£3
