Watermans is offering a 3 day workshop in film animation over half-term
Chocolate Films will introduce participants to stop-motion animation which teaches basic skills in camera, editing and computers.
Day 1 Viewing clips from stop-motion films; camera and computer training with basic practical exercises; storyboarding and planning a short collaborative animation.
Day 2 Creating the animation planned on Day 1, using art and craft skills and simple stop-motion computer software.
Day 3 Editing the animation; adding effects; sound recording and mixing; music titles and completion
The age range for the workshops is 13-19 years and they are ideal for anyone who has a creative eye or who wants to learn more about making and editing films with computers.
