Brian Higgins: this is Scotland's finest mad, ginger-haired, hard-drinking, comedian. His principal interests in life include himself, Scottish people, religion and of course drinking- but the difference is that he is genuinely funny. He manages to both ignore and play up to the stereotype to laugh both with and at it, in a spellbinding set that covers everything from a 'loony childhood', his former days as a paramedic (honest), as well as life's ups and downs in an always topical set.
