In town, Rink and his family are treated as outcasts; his Gran was raised by wolves, his uncle tames rattlesnakes and his cousins are shape shifters. However, Rink is the most unusual of all his family. Whenever the moon is full, Rink sprouts beautiful flowers all over his body.

Ashamed of his green secret, at school Rink sits quietly at the back, out of the way and left alone, until one day a new girl arrives: Angelina, who has some unique qualities of her own..

A school dance is announced and Rink notices Angelina's sadness at not being able to take part. He's inspired to create a solution that will help Angelina to take part in the dance and secure their friendship.

This magical and quirky tale celebrates differences and acceptance, highlighting the splendour of our own uniqueness. Using a variety of theatre styles and live music, Kazzum has cultivated its own version of this story originally written by Jen Wojtowicz.
