About this event

Rahim (Amir Jadidi) is in prison because of a debt he was unable to repay. During a two-day leave, he tries to convince his creditor (Mohsen Tanabandeh) to withdraw his complaint against the payment of part of the sum. But things don't go as planned. From the two-time Academy Award-winning director Asghar Farhadi for The Salesman (2017)  and The Separation (2011).

A superb morality play that immerses us deeply in a society's values and rituals and keeps us guessing right to its powerful final shot.
★★★★★ Dave Calhoun, Time Out
What begins as funny and almost farcical, soon shifts into something much sadder and more sobering.
★★★★ Simran Hans, Observer
