About this event

Cor Blimey, Guv’nor, it’s a good old fashioned East-End knees up!

Fancy a change from nursery rhymes?

Grab your basin of gravy and your dustbin lids and join us for some songs at the Ol’ Johanna!

Baby Knees Up is a zany, interactive family event with bubbles, puppets and plenty of singing along for adults, babies and children aged 0 - 100.

Tom Carradine (of Carradine’s Cockney Singalong) will get you and your little ones Doing the Lambeth Walk, pondering How Much is That Doggy in the Window, marching with inflatable bananas “down The Strand” and much more!

Brought to you by the producers of highly successful Baby Broadway and Baby Gospel concert series.

Born and raised in Coventry, Tom studied Biochemistry at Imperial College London. Since graduating in 2004, he has worked extensively as a musical director and keyboard player on theatre shows in London, across the UK and in Europe. A lifelong Music Hall and Variety fan, he has also worked as musical director and arranger at Brick Lane Music Hall and for the Players Theatre.

Since 2014 Tom has been performing his one-man Carradine’s Cockney Sing-a-long show playing sell-out dates at Wilton’s Music Hall, every Thursday at Mr Fogg's Tavern in Covent Garden and has performed at festivals, corporate events and private parties across the country and in Europe. In January 2022 was recognised by the British Music Hall Society with an award for “keeping the spirit of music hall alive”. Tom lives in Tonbridge with his wife and son, rides a Penny Farthing and is a proud member of the Handlebar Club.
We had so much fun. We literally did get our knees up. We all loved it! All the old classics! Reminded me of my Grandad. Fab sing-a-long session.
