About Sol Picó
Sol Picó is a professional contemporary dance company founded in 1994 by the dancer and choreographer Sol Picó, which gives the name to the company. From the beginning, her work mixes different genres, where they interact. Her honed technique allied to strength, accuracy and dynamics, supports the organic development of the work. Constantly energised with humour, the company’s works have their own distinctive style. What seemed like a challenge has become a dynamic way of working. What seemed like a risky and unsustainable proposal has become the raw material of their proposals.
