About this event

Dearly Beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the life and work of Charlie Bicknell, cabaret artist, actress and circus eccentric. 1970…1980 - last week.

She is survived by Louise Innes, ‘internationally acclaimed’ Opera singer and suspiciously alive cabaret partner. Accompanied by a grieving David Harrod on the piano (but then he’s always miserable) and her mourning gardener Will Robinson, eye-candy for the congregation. Reverend Jonathan Booth will deliver his eulogy, inspired by The Seven Ages of Man. Illustrated robustly with the help of Tim Minchin, Jacques Brel, Billy Eilish and Mozart, among others.

Witty, wanton, wonderful - cabaret with claws. A heady, edgy high-octane mix of English rose, Vamp and Cruella, shamelessly sexy, murderously funny. You have been warned. Roses have thorns., Brilliant! Such a fantastic night, I died laughing
