About this event

MAKE, LEARN, PLAY and PERFORM on your own fully working ukulele, made from a spread tub! If you don't believe it, take a look at the YouTube extract below.

In the workshops TUBUP bring everything you need to make your own TUB-Ukulele,

Once you have made your TUB-Ukulele instrument, the Utterly Butterfly Ukulele Project will teach you how to play a song, and then you can come back for an end of day performance with the assembled TUB-Uke Band.

The TUB-Ukes are constructed from an Utterly Butterly tub, a piece of wood and fishing line for strings. To everyone’s amusement and amazement, the TUB-Uke is fully functional and tuneable and is played the same as any conventional ukulele.

There will also be a performance in the refectory at 16:15 on both days.

An adult must accompany their child. If an adult wants to make a Ukuele, they must pay for a ticket.
