Join inclusive dance facilitator Kasia Maslowska to get your
body moving through dancing, jumping and having fun! These workshops are
designed especially for children with special educational needs and
Disabilities (aged 8+) and their families.
Over the 5 weeks, children will explore creative ways of
moving their bodies developing spatial awareness, creative thinking, mirroring
skills as well as dance skills. They’ll jump, turn, balance, reach, stretch,
make shapes and lots more, as well as learning basic dance sequences, all in a
fun and interactive way.
The workshops will take place via video on a Zoom link, a
wonderful way to discover something new while it's harder to get out. So come
and discover dance and movement: you'll won't believe what's possible!
IF YOU ARE BOOKING HALF WAY THROUGH THE SERIES, PLEASE CALL BOX OFFICE ON 0208 232 1010 (2-7pm).
How it works
The workshops take place via Zoom and are exclusively for
children with SEND and their families. They are FREE but if you book a place,
please do come along on the day or let us know well in advance if you can't
come (email firstname.lastname@example.org) as numbers are limited and your place could
go to another family.
On the day of the event you will be sent a Zoom link to join
the workshop. We recommend that you attend all the workshops if you can as they
are designed as a programme where you will see progression. But sometimes we
know that life gets in the way. Thank you!
This event is kindly
supported by the National Lottery Community Fund.
