About this event
Every year, Hounslow’s communities come together to light up the dark nights of winter. Throughout the autumn, people all over the borough take part in workshops to create stunning lanterns made of paper and willow.
Then everyone comes together for a beautiful lantern parade on Hounslow High Street and for the switch-on of the lights in Hounslow town centre. This finale event takes place on Saturday 23 November at 6.30 pm. The parade starts outside Thakers on Holloway Street (Holloway Street is a side street off Hounslow High Street, by Specsavers). The parade ends at Bell Square.
Short Breaks families can take part in either of 2 lantern-making workshops.
