About this event

As part of our new exhibition Superfluus, we’re hosting a series of monthly ‘Mending Community’ workshops where you can relax, meet other people, and chat while you make and learn new skills to turn old fabric and material into something new!

This simple pom-pom making workshop is led by artist Helena Doyle, and is suitable for all ages, including children aged 4 years + with adult supervision. In this creative re-use workshop participants will learn to make pompom charms or keyrings from discarded / waste fabrics and materials that would otherwise end up in landfill.

Book a ticket to guarantee your place (limited to 20 per session), priced at £2 per adult and £1 per child under 16. You can also drop in on the day, if space is available.

Materials provided, and you can also bring your own materials, if there’s something special you would like to recycle!

Address: Cranford Library, Bath Road, Hounslow, TW5 9TL
