Their fun workshop based on The Snowman (U) is gliding across the towns and cities of the UK throughout the winter! The fun and interactive event starts with a vocal warm-up, preparing the “Aled” within us all for the unforgettable Walking in the Air sequence. Then we will be preparing scenes from the animated film using instruments from around the world – tree-frog guiros and butterfly charango from South America, Greek lyre harp, African thumb piano, Chinese Wind Gong, South Asian Gopichand and other ingenious sound effects. 

The 30-min workshop is followed by a screening of the magical short film (also about 30 mins). A final highlight for families is to try out instruments after the show, or draw a postcard inspired by the film. The event is ideal for children aged 4+ and their grown-ups who team up to become the magical orchestra!
