Outdoor Arts Programme

ABOUT CPP HOUNSLOW’S OUTDOOR ARTS PROGRAMME

CPP Hounslow collaborate with Watermans and Bell Square on a range of large scale outdoor arts events throughout the year, bringing high quality, national and international performers to Hounslow High Street.

This has included participatory arts projects, such as Public Trust by Paul Ramirez (produced by Fierce Festival) that asked passersby to come and make a public promise; Stalker Teatro’s work, Prospero, that invited people to collectively create a large-scale community sculpture; and Diana Gadish’s participatory performance, Handle With Care, that brought people together in a community dance on Bell Square.

The programme has also brought live music and festivals to the high street. For example, Anhad, a South Asian music festival during South Asian Heritage Month. This gave a platform to UK South Asian creativity, including an installation of Kineteka People’s large-scale silk flags. The event included DJs, dance performances and shows exploring language, identity and society.

Find out more about the full programme at Bell Square here.

Each Winter, this includes the Winter Lights parade that brings people together to celebrate the festive lights turn on at Hounslow High Street. Find out more here.
