Statement regarding redevelopment of Watermans:

Watermans continues in discussion with two developers: Ballymore, who will be developing the South side of the High Street, and London Green, who will be developing the Old Police Station Site. Both options offer the opportunity for an exciting new and improved centre for Watermans.

Based on current assumptions a  move is unlikely to happen sooner than a 2-3 year time frame. Watermans will remain in its current building with a full programme until a new venue is ready to occupy. Once this happens, we expect to be closed only for the time taken to transfer over and prepare the new building for opening.

As there is more certainty, we will keep customers informed. Friends Memberships will of course be refunded or extended for any time during which the building is closed.
