VISUAL ARTS PRODUCER (0.6)

Part-time 3dd/wk (24h)

£30,025 per annum pro rata

We are looking for a creative and dynamic Visual Arts Producer to join our small team working in community settings throughout the borough of Hounslow.

You will be an experienced producer of visual arts exhibitions and events and be passionate about empowering people by giving them the skills, confidence and experience that enable them to develop and sustain an exciting programme of visual arts exhibitions. You will be highly organised, have the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, and be comfortable with autonomous working.

Creative People & Places Hounslow is an exciting programme to develop arts engagement across the borough. The programme is part of a major national engagement initiative by Arts Council England. Since the successful launch of the programme in 2014, Creative People & Places Hounslow has engaged with over 1.5m people with a diverse programme of outdoor arts events, festivals, workshops, courses and setting up four creative hubs across the borough.

Creative People & Places Hounslow is managed by a consortium, led by Watermans, the West London arts organisation. Funding for this role is in place through March 2025, and we will extend the role subject to continuing funding being confirmed.

£23,638 per annnum pro rata

We are looking for a creative and dynamic Community Arts Worker to join our team working on the ground in communities throughout the borough of Hounslow.

Creative People & Places Hounslow is the exciting programme to develop arts engagement across Hounslow, part of a major national engagement initiative by Arts Council England. Since 2014, we have engaged over 1.5m people in a diverse programme of outdoor arts events, festivals, workshops, exhibitions and courses at creative hubs across the borough.

A key aspect to Creative People and Places is the empowerment of the local community to take the lead in developing arts programmes in the areas where they live. As a Community Arts Worker, you will be the catalyst for this, creating inspiring arts programmes in partnership with the community that help achieve our vision to make Hounslow a colourful, confident and creative borough.
