About Watermans

What is Watermans?

Watermans is West London’s arts centre opens to the public Wednesday to Sunday, where visitors can enjoy independent and international cinema, children’s and family events, theatre and contemporary new media art.

Is Watermans Affordable?

Watermans’ galleries are free and every Wednesday the Watermans cinema offers Wild Wednesday – when all cinema tickets are available from just £7 – otherwise, tickets are still affordable and customers can access discounts for members/friends, seniors (60+), full-time students, people registered disabled and people receiving benefits.

Where is Watermans and What Else Can I Do?

The arts centre is on the riverside at Brentford, just off the High Street and its facilities include a cinema, theatre, gallery and studio spaces, as well as The Guru, its Indian restaurant and bar where you can order snacks, meals and drinks.  From Watermans you can enjoy riverside views and next door you can  find Watermans Park, when visitors can find a relaxing open green space with a children’s play area.

How is Watermans Funded?

The organisation receives grant funding from Arts Council England and London Borough Hounslow.

Watermans can be found on High Street, Brentford in between Brentford and Kew Bridge overland stations. Parking is easy as Watermans has its own affordable car park.  It is situated within easy reach of Chiswick, Ealing, Richmond and Twickenham. All of Waterman’s spaces can be hired for private and commercial use, perfect for theatre, comedy, exhibitions, conferences, weddings and parties.
