Are you having trouble with your tenor horn?

Terrified of your tuba?

Feeling useless at your euphonium?

Or craving to learn the cornet after triumphing at your trumpet?

The Hounslow Community Brass Band is a supportive, relaxed environment where you can learn a new instrument, brush up your skills in between your music lessons, or dust off the case that’s currently sitting in the loft. Complete beginners are also welcome – no experience needed, just enthusiasm!

Sessions take place weekly and cover a variety of music styles with the opportunity to perform publicly each term. Open to anyone over 18. A limited number of Instruments are available on loan for free for those who don’t already have their own. Please contact Rachel before booking your space if you wish to take advantage of a loan.

For more information, email rachelm@watermans.org.uk

Please note these sessions are not held at Watermans.

These sessions are brought to you as part of the Creative People and Places Hounslow Community Engagement Programme.

It's excellent. I've been doing it about 2 years now... it's something to do and you get a lot of satisfaction out of it when you get it right. I play... the bit at the back where if you get it wrong it doesn't really matter!
