Creative Network West is a community of creatives in the borough of Hounslow and the surrounding area. We bring together practitioners and businesses in the creative sector to encourage new connections and collaborations, peer support and business development opportunities.
We run monthly networking events, produce a regular newsletter that signposts events, opportunities, and resources, and run projects like Virtual Studios West and our peer mentoring programme, West London Creative Producers.

What’s the background?
The Creative Network is run by Hounslow Creative People and Places on behalf of Creative Enterprise West, a Creative Enterprise Zone funded by the GLA as a 2-year project to develop the creative industries in Hounslow.
The Creative Network aims to build a self-sustaining network of creatives that will continue to grow and to flourish beyond the period of the GLA funding.
Who is it for?
The Network is for creatives living or working in the borough of Hounslow and the surrounding area. Whether you’re a freelancer, a micro-enterprise, or part of a larger company; artist, maker, writer, designer, in media or digital, architect or performer…we want to hear from you!
Who are we?
The Creative Network Coordinator is based at Watermans in Brentford as part of the CPP Hounslow team.

What We Do
We run regular networking events, with opportunities for members to share skills and work, make connections, and feed into future plans.
We produce a monthly newsletter (3rd Friday of each month) with events, opportunities, and space for members to share their own news. You can contribute to the newsletter using this submission form. Listings must be received at least two days before the second Friday of the month.
We are also planning:
- business development workshops around areas such as negotiating skills and engaging the media
- creative groups for artists, writers, actors/performers, and film & photography
- a professional directory of creative business in Hounslow
- projects such as Virtual Studios and the Creative Mile.
We’re looking out for ideas and people who’d like to make them happen. Would you like to develop a scratch night or help organise an art trail? Get in touch!
