About Hounslow Ukulele Collective
Hounslow Ukulele collective was developed by CPP Hounslow following local consultation with a wide range of individuals and community groups where it was discovered that the borough has very few opportunities for adults to take part in music groups. Following the successful establishment of Hounslow Community Choir and Hounslow Community Brass Band, Hounslow Ukulele collective was formed.
The group was established in 2017 and since then has fostered a wonderful Ukulele community, offering people not just the chance to learn a new skill but also to perform. Ukulele is an easy instrument to learn, and has been shown to improve hand eye coordination and memory. The group is led by Kasia Paszek an experienced ukulele player and tutor.
Hounslow Ukulele Collective offers a low cost and easy way to learn a new instrument. The group meets weekly during term time at the Griffin pub in Brentford.
