Creative Mile 2023

Watermans is once again delighted to be participating in Creative Mile – Brentford’s Art Trail, which runs from 1 – 3 September.

Creative Mile is a free event and everyone is welcome.

Now in its third year, Creative Mile showcases over seventy local artists and makers in twenty-two venues across Brentford.

Last year, over 3,000 people joined in. It’s going to be another big weekend in Brentford. From painters to printmakers, hat makers to ironworks, ceramicists to sculptors, Creative Mile profiles the creative community in Brentford.

With more venues participating this year, there is a mix of old industrial, heritage properties, studios and galleries, arts centre, and museums. Water flows through Brentford with the Thames, River Brent, Grand Union canal and these have influenced our past and future. This year Creative Mile is celebrating water as its artistic theme and collaborating with the Totally Thames festival.
