About this event
“They dance endlessly, until they are exhausted.”
Strasbourg, 1518: a dance fever takes hold of the entire city. Inspired by this strange historic epidemic, Clémentine Bart continues her research on physical endurance and the power of the collective.
For her second show, she has created Fièvre a vibrant, burning piece, where six dancers allow themselves to be carried away: continuous excitement; a common pulse, almost crazy.
Together, they create, fall, get up, support each other, exhaust each other, merge into each other. The individual dissolves into the energy of the group, beauty is born in a shared chaos.
Cie Point Bart create a physical and vibrant ritual, where the urgency of movement becomes a cry. FIÈVRE!
Choreography: Clémentine Bart

About Cie Pont Bart:
Compagnie Point Bart was founded in 2021 by dancer and choreographer Clémentine Bart. She imagines and creates choreographic performances rooted in reality. From the company's first creation, Eddy, she asserted a clear artistic commitment: to make bodies speak; to tell the world and to approach reality with poetry, softening its brutality without ever erasing it. Clémentine designs her projects off the beaten track, outdoors, in unusual locations. She creates by walking, by riding, by moving forward. More than 3,000 km by bike across Europe have fuelled her artistic approach: exploring the limits of the body, listening to the land, and collecting stories. The company's work questions the physical and mental boundaries of the body.
