Tom Keane will be making an appearance at the Gunnersbury Pop-up Museum on Sat 14 Sept 12pm – 1pm & Sun 15 Sept 11am – 12pm.

Keane who runs Chiswick Auctions, is a household name amongst daytime television anitques enthusiasts will be at the ‘Gunnersbury Pop-up Museum” where you can bring along an artefact special to you and ask him to share his expertise about its history.

Do you have something at home you treasure? Is it of sentimental or monetary value or both? Did someone special pass it on to you? Does it tell you anything about you or your local area?

Gunnersbury Pop-Up Museum which has been curated by young people bring a surpising range of small artefacts that they believe add meaning and significance to the local area

Come along and bring one or more artefacts of your choice which tells a story about your life or your local area for use in one of the Pop-up Museum workshops.

There are two kinds of workshops. Drop-in Activities

A. Using you own artefact or one from our own selection create photo stories, collages and drawings about why the artefact is important to you.
Fri: 4 – 5pm
Sat: 11-12pm, 12.15 – 1.15pm, 3.15 – 4.15pm
Sun: 11-12pm, 3.15-4.15pm

B. Haiku Workshops (Short poems of 17 syllables). Be inspired by Gunnersbury Museum to learn the Japanese art of using just a few words to capture feelings and images.
Sun: 12-1pm, 2-3pm
